Demolishing her Clan's Property. [Closed until further notice.]

Hikari stood atop a high hill near the gates of the Cloud village. The sun hung high above her and clouds housed over numerous buildings, creating that safe aura. She looked at the gate; standing tall and proud. Smiling, she turned and walked further in the town. Having lived here her whole life almost made her feel like nothing could persuade her into leaving the village. Stepping out of those gates were just a myth to her; something she did not believe.

She felt the cool breeze entangle her, letting her black locks fly loose. As she was in the midst of her fuffilment, a sharp memory had taken over her. Hikari visioned herself with a kunai, and her mother's tear-filled face looking at her. Frowning to herself, she shook the image out of her head. "I'm losing it.." Hikari convinced herself, as if that'd make that memory not true.

Reaching the familiar buildings she once loved, hate filled her eyes. Hikari glared at the threshold of the building, picturing herself once sitting there, tossing random items with Genshuku. "Wind Style: Wind Release: Great B--" She stopped herself, thinking of what damage it would do to the properties. She wanted to make this unnoticable, almost like this buidling was never here. Sighing, Hikari threw a rock at the window, smashing it. As she heard no voices from within that reacted to the "not-really-an-accidental-windowbreak," she walked towards the door, opening it with a squeak.

Hikari frowned at the horrible sight released beneath her eyes. Desks lay trampled on the ground, walls were ripped open; making it able to see through the other rooms, furnitures were aloof on the pile of debris, and a fine layer of dust lay proudly on everything that seemed to take up space. She groaned as she soaked up this place, helping a little to clean the stuff up. Avoiding anymore interruptions, she walked over to the main room of this place, where she would cast a jutsu, destroying it all.

Reaching yet, another door, Hikari kicked it open in desperation. She had been searching for a specific room, but everywhere she looked, she was wrong. She had already searched most of the westwings of this house; she moved onto another room, beside this door-less one. Doubting her assumptions, Hikari opened the door, thinking she'll find a useless one as well. But as if on cue, her father's office lay before her. It was pretty much the same; ignoring the mess.

Hikari vaguely remembered this room. The same pictures hung on the bare walls along with newspaper articles, back in the days when she could barely walk. One was slightly bigger than the rest, with a more rich frame. She saw her young self, looking straight at the camera in happiness. In her hands, she could see a small doll she had recieved.

"That's right.." Hikari muttered to herself. 'My 3rd birthday,' She no longer had a desperate look, but her face lightened up into a smile. Taking mental pictures in her head, she moved on to other memoirs. Hikari snooped around drawers and shelves, hoping to find a decent item she once remembered. But everything she had discovered in this room seemed to bring back the same memories over and over.

When Hikari was done with her expedition, she sighed, looking at her hands. With these 2, she knew she had to destroy her house. It wasn't the fact that she couldn't do it, but for the fact that she couldn't bring herself to do it. She dreaded for all the memories in this house to go to waste, and disappear forever, but it had to be done. No one said when, however.

Hikari stepped out of her father's study. Deciding that she'll finish her task at a later date, she took a quick stroll around the house. She curiously walked to the direction of her old play room, wondering if everything was the same there as well. Turning the doorknob, Hikari pushed the fairly small door open. She couldn't help but spread a wide smile across her face as she saw everything there. Toys lay around the floor, messy, but neat, a desk held her favourite picture books and ultimately, her plushies.

She fast-walked over to the large baby-carriage like wooden box and dug through her many plushies, hoping to find one she vaguely remembered playing with. Her hands felt something stringy, and as she pulled it out, it was as if her whole childhood was played in her head over again. Hikari lightly squeezed the little plushie in her hand, and as she did, she felt something odd. Taped at the back, was a note;

Hikari,

It was her mother's writing..

My baby is all grown up.. and does not need her mother anymore..
I am writing this letter to you, and it's the day before your 16th birthday.
Your father.. needs to tell you something, but he figures you are still young.
Keep in mind that if we are not around any longer, dispose of our clan's property.

It was as if it was fate..

But you cannot do it on your own.
Your grandfather has had the ability to do it, but you are our last hope.
Get help from the Raikage; explain the situation to him.
There are reasons of reasons of this task, but it is better left unsaid.

"Reasons left unsaid.." she said to herself. She read this letter over and over again until she had memorized it. Hikari sighed, then put the letter in her pocket. She almost forgot she was holding the stuffed plushie still, and as she set it down, she was out of the house with a poof. Taking one last look at the house outside, she headed to the Raikage's office.
